FROM THE SECOND HALF OF THE NINETEENTH CENTURY TO THE PRESENT DAYS, A TRADITION THAT CONTINUES THANKS TO CRISTINA AND HER FAMILY
The Armato Cristina Agricultural Company is based in Lucinasco, a village located about 500 m above sea level and which dominates the upper valley of the Impero torrent, a vast area in which olive growing has been practiced for centuries thanks to a particular microclimate which gives the oil unique characteristics.
We must start from the second half of the nineteenth century to trace the origins of oil production which is now carried forward by Cristina and her family with great commitment, dedication, effort and the right combination of tradition and innovation.
All the company's products are obtained exclusively in an artisanal way, their quality is impeccable (for example the Taggiasca monocultivar extra virgin olive oil has received important recognition) and is the result of multiple factors among which the great passion and the strong respect for the valorization of the raw material.
It is precisely the love for the territory and the desire to make it known to more people that pushed Cristina to open the “Nonni Devia” Agriturismo, where hospitality is the key word.
