AROKO CHOCOLATE - From the origins of cocoa to the heart of Italian craftsmanship
Aroko Chocolate is an Italian company that produces chocolate following the artisanal method known as "Bean to Bar." Every aspect of production—from selecting the treated cocoa to crafting the chocolate, to putting the finished product on sale—is handled directly by the owners in their artisanal laboratory, using exclusively premium cocoa beans from Venezuela.
Dubraska and Johonny, Venezuelan by birth but Italian by adoption, decided to embark on this adventure driven by the desire to introduce the public to the full quality and diversity of Venezuelan cocoa. Because there's more to chocolate than just one; on the contrary, there are as many types as there are varieties of cocoa beans. And no country has as many varieties as Venezuela. (The selected varieties are Chuao, Porcelana, Ocumare, Sur del Lago, and Choromì.)
After careful selection, the finest beans available are processed to create rare, authentic, intense, and internationally awarded chocolates. Each cocoa variety embodies centuries of tradition and an unbreakable bond with the land where it grew. Each bar is a journey through time and space, through unforgettable aromas and flavors: from fruity and floral notes to the most intense and spicy accents. An experience that goes beyond chocolate.
