Cantina Castagnini - between land and sea
Cantina Castagnini - between land and sea
Immersed in a still uncontaminated and highly evocative landscape, the Castagnini winery was founded in 2000. A "relatively recent" reality but with an ancient peasant tradition built thanks to a solid family background that dates back to the early 1950s.
Cultivating vines in this area, with these slopes and without the possibility of using adequate machinery is only possible with great effort and immense passion and stubbornness!
The result of so much effort, however, has no equal! Wines of great personality, one of a kind, a territory and a history in a glass.
Refined wines capable of enhancing territorial notes.
We at Fine Taste recently discovered them during a trip to Tuscany and were immediately fascinated by them!
The estate is located on the hills of Candia, between the marble quarries and the sea, and extends for approximately 5 hectares of terraced vineyards facing the sea. This privileged position allows it to receive sun, salt water and the influence of sea breezes. The scented winds from the sea and the Mediterranean scrub that surrounds the vineyards give unique aromas and scents, thus allowing us to obtain products of great excellence.
