We are in Finocchito, a magical place between the Cilento/Vallo di Diano National Park and the Alento Oasis, an area characterized by uncontaminated lands and great biodiversity.
The undisputed protagonist of the production is certainly the fig, in particular the white fig of Cilento DOP, which is grown in specially certified lands, dried and preserved with innovative techniques that allow the perfect preservation of the organoleptic properties for a long period without having to resort to the use of any chemical product.
The fig is an ancient, delicious and simple product. Traditionally a must on holiday tables, it can still be enjoyed every day at the end of a meal or to accompany important cheeses. Let's not forget that the fig also has notable properties: it is a natural anti-inflammatory, energizing, reduces the risk of chronic diseases (being rich in Omega 3 and 6) and is an excellent food for regulating blood pressure (thanks to the high potassium component ).
