GIORGIO POETA – The Child Prodigy of excellent Italian honey
Giorgio Poeta is certainly a point of reference for all gourmet enthusiasts. With his extraordinary honey he has managed to conquer, in the space of a few years, the most noble palates of our starred chefs. Massimo Bottura, Mauro Uliassi and Cristina Bowerman just to name a few; Giorgio's honey is constantly used in the preparation of some of their dishes. This success is not accidental, but the result of rigor and a boundless passion for "the world of honey". Poeta is also the inventor, or the enlightenment, of honey aged as if it were a wine, in barrique barrels! Try its refined honey, you will be amazed! The production of its nectar is based on the collection by approximately 70 thousand bees, in hives spread across approximately 40 hectares with a rigorous and certified organic regime, mainly in the Marche areas. In addition to honey, the company's production also includes mead, a delicious alcoholic drink composed of a mixture of monofloral honeys and pure spring water, aged for at least 15 months to which is added the "barricaded" version.
